Weight Watchers-Does the Program Work?

<img src=”https://dietcleanse.org/”0″ alt=”” />

Is Weight Watchers a good system to follow or not? There are a lot of people who hate this program, and others who love it.

So who is right?

The truth is, there are both positives and negatives about it. The good thing is that it keeps you accountable. A lot of programs just rely on you staying on track yourself, and have no one to look in on you.

On the other hand, weight watchers keeps tabs on you and ensures you stick with your goals. It does so by having a weekly meeting with others where you weight yourself. This way, if you do not reach your target weight for that week, you feel embarrassed. Embarrassment is one of the biggest motivators when sticking to something.

The cons are that the program does not focus on nutrition, merely counting calories. The problem with that is that your overall health does not really improve. Sure, anyone can lose weight by simply lowering their calorie intake. I find that other diet like jenny craig or south beach diet incorporates healthier choices for you.

However, the quantity of what you eat is not as important as quality. Instead of merely eating less of the bad stuff, you want to eat more of the good stuff. Here are two tips to help you drop pounds:

#1) Eat natural foods

These are the best for keeping the metabolism going, because they do not bog down the system. Cooked foods are difficult to digest, and therefore the metabolism gets hampered trying to absorb them.

#2) Eat more frequently

This is the best way to keep the metabolism going. Having it start and stop for long periods is not good. Instead, keeping the metabolism moving consistently throughout the day is the best method to drop pounds.

The bottom line: Weight Watchers is a good way to lose weight, but not to improve your health. If you want to drop pounds naturally, implement these two tips and you will see results shortly.
